@peter.malinauskas: This is the first of three huge cutterheads for the tunnel boring machines. Once assembled, it’ll operate 24/7 underground to dig the tunnels for the Torrens to Darlington. Tunnelling is expected to commence in the second half of this year. And the entire project will be delivered by 2031 – allowing motorists to bypass 21 sets of traffic lights.
