3 cats, 1 dog. we let our animals duke it out. They don't in front of us. Just one day we come home and one has claimed another's "spot." We don't know how it happened or what went down. All we know is now all our girl cats have to do is sit in front of our dog while he's lounging in his bed and look at him for 2 seconds or less and he gets up and let's them have his bed. No fuss no muss. They have established a pecking order and he is definitely not on the top. 🤣

I had a pair that looked like them, but our black cat was the boy & the tabby was the girl. They frequently slept together on a day bed that was next to a window. No reason to be cuddled up because the sunny warm spot was as wide as the bed. Same for the top perch on the scratching posts. Had two of them, but they never used both at the same time. If one was in one, the other had to “join” them. 😆

I had the same issue only I have a bed for each cat and they each want the same bed the other is sleeping in. I just let them figure it out. First one there gets the bed 🤣.
