A totally unnecessary product for the majority of people. Babies don’t need their mouths cleaned. Speaking as an IBCLC. If your baby constantly has a milky mouth and a white tongue then they probably have a poor latch on the breast/bottle.

The NICU uses a green disposable one. We call them toothbrushes. And yes, you can use any soft abrasive wash cloth to do the same thing. You don’t need it on a stick.
