Until government scraps the minimum wage and BEE, there will be no jobs created for young people. Minimum wage makes inexperienced people too expensive to hire and train. The actual learning for a job happens in the work place and not in the classroom

It’s not just the youth—this affects all of us. I was once part of the youth too, and now at 50, I’m still job hunting with no success. Even my SASSA grant was cancelled. We can’t divide this struggle by age. Whether you’re 18 or 50, we all need opportunities to survive. Meanwhile, many of our leaders are well over the age limits they set for others. It’s time we come together and demand fair opportunities for everyone.✊🏽
