If you are using this for your coding projects, graphrag beats lightrag on accuracy (but not speed) hands down. But you do have to be hands on helping define entities and relationships and setting up a good update mechanism and setting up an MCP etc etc. And I’m pretty sure you can use Gemma 4 multimodal preprocessing for your pdfs and images pre ingestion. Honestly doing all this right will make your Claude code sessions better, but it’s probably more of an exercise to know HOW to do this and how it works if you want to do this professionally.
