Spread the potato mixture evenly to about 1.5 cm thickness. 4. Chill for 20–30 minutes, then cut into rectangular sticks. Freeze for 1 hour, or until firm. 5. Coat each stick in flour, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes. 6. Deep-fry in hot oil at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown and crispy. 7.
