🍓💕 FALL INTO FRAGRANCE | WEEK 3: OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE | DAY 6/7 💕 If there’s one fragrance note that can make me hesitate, it’s RASPBERRY! 🍓 I have struggled with raspberry-forward perfumes, but this week is all about challenging my fragrance preferences and finding new ways to wear scents that aren’t necessarily in my comfort zone! Today, I decided to give Petra Viola by @Lattafa Perfumes a chance! And here’s what makes this one extra special: two of my sweet fragrance friends were kind enough to share decants of Petra Viola with me @ALAYsha | VanilleFemme and @Perfumeismylovelanguage 💕 I love how generous and thoughtful this fragrance community is, and I wanted to give this scent a fair chance, especially knowing it was shared with me by friends! Petra Viola is a fruity floral gourmand featuring raspberry, violet, pink pepper, cotton candy, jasmine, and a soft musky, woody base. Sounds beautiful, right? But that raspberry note had me wondering how I could make it work for me! Here’s how I built today’s fragrance layering combination: 🩷 @Bath & Body Works Gingham Gorgeous body wash and lotion — Starting with pink strawberries, peach nectar, and peony blossoms for a sweet, fruity floral foundation. 🍬 @SAND AND FOG Vanilla Sugar Perfume Oil — Adding vanilla, caramel, and creamy sweetness to soften the fruity notes. 🍓 Lattafa Petra Viola — The star of today’s challenge! Raspberry, violet, cotton candy, and delicate florals bring that fruity gourmand character I’m learning to embrace. 🥂 @Pariscornerperfumes Khair Felicity — Finishing with sparkling champagne, cassis, rose, jasmine, vanilla, and sugary musk to bring everything together! My goal with this fragrance layering combination was to surround that challenging raspberry note with familiar scents I already enjoy.
