Babies are meant to wake every 2.5 - 3 hours for an overnight feed for atleast the first 6-9 months? I don’t understand why there is so much pressure for them to be sleeping through the night. They are hungry.

So get you're tired!!!! But can we normalise that babies aren't meant to sleep though the night they are new to this world. Every mummas journey is different with there babies sleep. I have a two year old and a seven month old and we are just going with the flow. Make that extra coffee or special drink and enjoy your favourite treat during the day you deserve it for raising healthy kids.

arlo needs more stimulating during the days with more awake windows and less sleep during the day. still 15 plus hours over 24 hour period but more at night.

Every 45 minutes for 14 months, then every 2-3 hours until 18 months (stopped breastfeeding) then waking up 3 times a night, he is 2 and still wakes up looking for us in our bed (he sleeps with me) and cuddles on our neck
