@saltandshaikh: ad* people sleep on guernsey for food. here are the 5 places you have to eat at and none of them will cost what you'd pay in london here's what i tried: 🍝 otto - wagyu pappardelle with truffle mushroom sauce and beef ragout. the portion was massive. for wagyu, that's almost unheard of 🍣 fukku - michelin guide spot. the o-toro was buttery, the crab roll was sensational, and the unagi sashimi charred on top? so good 🥩 hook - another michelin guide restaurant. guernsey is famous for its cows so obviously i had to get the sirloin. so juicy. sharing with the hubby was tough 🦪 fregate hotel - 12 oysters. 6 natural, then a mix of baked oysters with cheese and oysters in a champagne shot. guernsey oysters are no joke 🍗 lola - filipino inspired. the karaage chicken and corn ribs were delicious. didn't see this one coming but it delivered still not convinced? guernsey has a whole festival dedicated to this - Big Eats. the island takes its food seriously. maybe it's time you did too 📍 guernsey, channel islands #guernseyeats #guernsey
