I started doing tics at age 16 soooo hm idk I doubt myself and I’m not sure if I should get diagnosed yet because I keep thinking I’m faking but it is an issue

Yes,i have ticks and im 10 but i can kontrol thel lil bit when someone is at home. If someone is at home i do lil ticks like:cleaning throat,making sonds but if im home alone i do ticks like:loude screaming and doing somting fizikly funny and like making sounds and i can’t controll them✌️

Definitely tics my son has tics and was around this age it was more noticeable x

My son has this started as a little boy he’s now 26 still does it it’s exhausting for them involuntarily movements it happens whilst sleeping too so they’re maybe days when he looks tired and dark circles we were told to ignore and not make a big deal about them it’s hard to see when it’s your child and their friends notice we found keeping my lad active in his interests good luck sweetheart xx

my son as suffered with this for years its wen they are tied or stressed or concentrating to hard dont worry to much about it hun best thing is to carry on doing what ir doing but just keep a eye on it xx

My son has Tourette’s and does this, has done since the age of 5, he’s 17 now and it has calmed a lot unless he’s stressed or worried. Doctors aren’t bothered, don’t do owt even when then cause him pain.

My sons definitely increased with puberty. He is 20 now and it definitely decreased as he got through his teens. Hi Addison.

I do similar but not as “aggressive” as such, I flap my arm too which is really annoying. It doesn’t bother me but I’m older and it’s been years

My 11 year old son has the exact same tic he has Tourette’s plus autism and adhd the tics are so bad how is your little boy doing now with them? x
