didn’t force myself to lose feelings. It just happened, and in the end I realized something. Love is actually rare. Most people don’t fall in love the way they think they do. We all have some kind of trauma, especially from childhood, and we end up choosing people who fill those gaps without even noticing it. Then we call it “the right person” or “true love,” but honestly… it’s not. Real love isn’t about fixing someone or being fixed. It’s about accepting each other, growing together, and staying by each other’s side through everything. It’s not losing yourself, your peace, or your sanity just to make someone fit into your life.
The reason I say love is rare is because both people need to be healthy for it to actually work. Not perfect, but aware. That means two things: first, not coming from a place where you’re completely driven by your wounds, and second, actually working on yourself and breaking your own patterns instead of carrying them into the relationship.
That’s when love becomes real, when you know what you want, and you’re not just looking for someone to fill a hole inside you.
And the truth is… it’s rare to find two people like that and end up being together. That’s why I don’t really believe in love anymore.
