I used this method before but when I took the braids down, each piece of hair had a knot on the thread from this method. I think the regular tree braids method is better and it want leave a knot on the thread. The hair should just slide off when you unbraid it.

I thought putting the knot is what’s damaging to the hair it’s seems you did your daughter hair differently…you just pulled the hair through your baby’s braid and left it alone righti want the most healthiest way I don’t want to struggle when it comes to taking it down but I want the hair to stay put
