Reze, also known as the Bomb Girl, is a hybrid from the Soviet Union who serves as the primary antagonist of the Bomb Girl arc. Sent to Japan with the mission to steal Chainsaw Man’s heart, she appears as a slender young woman with shoulder-length purple hair and emerald-green eyes. To hide her identity, she wears a choker that conceals a grenade pin in her neck, which serves as the trigger for her explosive transformation. As the Bomb Hybrid, Reze’s transformation is modeled after an atomic bomb. Her head takes on a metallic, bomb-like shape with sharp, angular teeth, while her arms are covered in fuses. Her combat form is often seen equipped with sticks of dynamite, reflecting her immense destructive power. This form is a result of harsh military experiments and training she endured since childhood. When first introduced, Reze presents herself as a kind, gentle, and playful girl who shows a romantic interest in Denji. However, this personality is later revealed to be a calculated façade designed to get closer to her target. Even her physiological responses, such as blushing, were conditioned through her rigorous upbringing as a "guinea pig" for the Soviet government. Despite her manipulative mission, Reze develops a genuine bond with Denji, empathizing with him because neither of them ever had a normal childhood or went to school. While she is a deadly fighter, she shows a preference for avoiding unnecessary killing.
