@ladypenglovesyou: There's this weird guilt trip in the beauty industry around wanting to make real money. Like somehow caring about your income means you don't care about your craft. That's a broke person's story. And a lot of people are repeating it without even realizing it. Here's what nobody tells you when you're in school: not all services are created equal. Lashes, nails, facials — hella competitive, hella time-intensive, hella overhead. Waxing? Most people slept on it. Still are. The math is different. The repeat client cycle is different. The time per service is different. When you get efficient — and you will — you are printing money compared to what most estheticians are making. I didn't stumble into this. I paid attention to what was actually working and I went all in on it. And then I taught everyone I could because gatekeeping a bag is weird behavior. If you're in this industry and your income isn't reflecting the skill you've put in, you don't have a talent problem. You have a strategy problem. Wax to Riches is 20 years of that strategy, completely free. Here's what's inside: ⚡ Speed waxing — 7-min Brazilians, 15-min Manzilians. 💰 Retail that actually sells 🎯 My word-for-word retail scripts 📈 The real business strategy 💪 Male waxing: heavy tippers, ride-or-die clients, untapped money DM me the word CLASS and I'll send you the link💰

Anybody going to do a job is doing it for money. We all need to make money to live. You’re right. I still don’t like the how the industry sounds (I’m not saying you guys per se) when explaining why they decided to raise prices. The reasons typically sound like the client is not being considered in the decision. I wish it was different in this way.
