1. utilizing Arya's faceless man magic 2. a callback to the "I did warn you not to trust me" scene 3. using Bran's seer power but not making it the final nail in the coffin because honestly why would it be? 4. foiling Littlefinger's classic "sister against sister" plot. 5. Showing Sansa's growth instead of her just saying, "I am a slow learner, but I learn" get in the car, we're getting you in the writer's chair!

Insane how you hardly changed the general idea of the confrontation and some stuff but still had something 1000x better imo the reason for his death being so messy is absolutely the fact that they didn’t know how to handle his character at all I’m only a show watcher so far just reading now but the drop of quality in his character in S5+ was insane so much wasted potential and this proves that it’s not that hard to make his big screw up make sense 😭
