BLACK BEAR, LONDON 🍔 If you’re suffering from a hangover in London, do yourself a favour and head straight to Black Bear. It completely cured ours and delivered one of the best burgers we’ve eaten this year. We tried the National Burger Awards’ 2nd Best Burger in the World for 2025, the Double Miso Bacon Burger, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered: 🍔 Double Miso Bacon burger 🍗 Hot Honey Fried Chicken 🥔 Cajun Fries 🥔 Millionaire Potatoes The star of the show was undoubtedly the Double Miso Bacon Burger. Served medium, with two perfectly seasoned dry-aged beef patties, smoked bacon, miso butter and onions, it was quite simply an incredible burger. It somehow managed to be both simple and packed with flavour at the same time. Every bite melted in your mouth and it’s easily one of the tastiest things we ate during our trip to London. We also ordered the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Burger, which seriously impressed us. The chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy, while the hot honey added the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Safe to say, we were big fans of this one too. For sides, we went for the Cajun fries and the Millionaire Potatoes. The potatoes, in particular, were absolutely elite. Double-cooked crispy potatoes coated in garlic butter, parmesan and truffle mayo, there really isn’t much more to say other than they were ridiculously good. To finish, we were treated to a complimentary soft serve, which was the perfect way to cool down after a hot and very sweaty day in London. If you’re looking for a burger spot in London that’s worthy of the hype, Black Bear absolutely delivers. We’ll definitely be dreaming about that miso bacon burger for a long time. 🍔🔥
