The oil is likely making it worse. I’d recommend looking into a scalp serum because those are non comodgenic instead so it doesn’t irritate your scalp and trying head and shoulders shampoo

have you tried washing your hair with sufer 8 shampoo & greasing your scalp with blue magic or mix blue magic & monistat to grease your scalp with?

Go to a dermatologist and stop using braiding hair and make sure you read the labels to all of those gels that they part your hair with. I think it’s mostly the gels which is why we all are suffering
