@1aurlaur cherry rolls with cherry cream cheese frosting โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’ dough: 240 ml warm milk 2.5 teaspoons instant yeast 2 eggs 75 grams butter 100 grams sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 500 grams all-purpose flour (add more, if needed) to warm milk and sugar, add yeast and let it rest for 5 minutes. to that, add in melted butter, eggs, salt and combine together. start gradually adding in the flour until a dough has formed. knead the dough for 5 minutes, it should be a little sticky, but still easy to work with. let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place or until doubled in size. cherry jam: - 1 tbsp cornstarch  - 3 tbsp water  - 400 g cherries (can be frozen) - 1 tbsp sugar to a pot, on medium heat, combine water and cornstarch. when the cornstarch has dissolved, add in the cherries. let the cherries cook until soft and mushy. with a hand blender, blend the cherries and place back on the stove. add in the sugar, let it cook for two more minutes and remove from the heat. pour in a jar and let the jam cool. when the dough has finished rising, roll out into a rectangle and spread a even layer of the cherry jam on top. roll it up, and using a dental floss cut the rolls. place into a baking tray and pour over 80 ml heavy cream. (this is optional, but it will make the rolls a lot softer and fluffier) ๐ŸŒก๏ธ preheat the oven to 190 c degrees and bake for 20-22 minutes.  cherry cream cheese frosting:  - 100 g cream cheese  - 50 g room temperature butter  - 1 tbsp powdered sugar  - 1 tbsp cherry jam - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract  with a mixer, beat softened butter for 2 minutes until light and fluffy. add in the cream cheese and beat together for another minute. then add vanilla extract and powdered sugar, mix until smooth. finally, add the cherry jam and mix until the red colour has evenly spread trough the frosting. you can add more jam, depending on how bright, you would like it. enjoy!
