The duality of the platforms is their passive:active correspondence. The active, the overtly negative, we realize it and take not. Label it in our minds, "this is muck." But it's a distraction from the passive side. The side that's positive, it has all the bells and whistles, the lights, the laughs. And with every single scroll, our brains passively annotate each into an invisible compounding collective. That all builds into an image. One that we are not actively living, yet witnessing others living. The comparisons begin, slowly but surely. Reaction is dependent on individual thought pattern. But it all pushes us towards a common herding point. It's all bullshit, and it's important to snap out of it for a moment before locking back in.👍
