people who say anything bad about "unpronounceable chemicals" will never be not funny because all they're doing is admitting that they're uneducated and scared of stuff they don't know (but also don't want to learn) also hear this a lot about cosmetics. like, a product made entirely at home and kept there (like the rice water, rosemary water etc trends) is not better because it's natural, it's gonna turn into sht in a few days because it doesn't have any preservatives. silicones have a purpose and work well, sulphates have a purpose and work well, chemical UV filters last longer than physical ones, just because something ends with "alcohol" doesn't mean it works the same as the ethyl or isopropyl one, if you don't think so try drinking methyl alcohol and check the results. amen I guess
