I posted a bunch of trial reels, they all sat at around 200 views.. but when I converted to a “regular” reel they suddenly shot up and hit like 20k views. It’s put me off using it :/

posting trial reels everyday for 2 months now and that always gets 100 views (and sometimes 1 like but not always 💀) and gained litteraly 0 new follower... (whereas on shorts or tiktok I gain 2-3 followers per post)

I don't think it have to be trial reels, we have been posting regular reels consistently (2-3x per week) and we grew from ~650 followers to 13.7k in about 6 months

i’ve been trying them for a few days and have found more success than using regular reels. i noticed that existing followers seem to get fatigued from the standard captions. it feels a bit spammy to your current audience i guess.
