@stereogum: @madonna’s ‘Confessions II’ is coming July 3 via Warner Records. She reteamed with producer Stuart Price for this sequel to 2005’s ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor,’ which is now up for preorder. No songs are out yet but she revealed some lines from the track “One Step Away” that she says sum up the record: “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”  Madonna will also appear in the second season of Seth Rogen’s ‘The Studio’ alongside Julia Garner, who had been attached to star in a long-delayed Material Girl biopic that’s still up in the air.
