I would like to extend my deepest appreciation and gratitude to Her Excellency Dr. Laila Ghannam, Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, for her support and interest in the “Pink October” project in the southern governorates of Palestine—Gaza—and for believing in its important humanitarian mission. As the Vice President of Watan – The Seeds of Love – USA, I am truly honored by every opportunity to connect with individuals and leaders who believe that humanitarian work is not simply about words, but about meaningful actions, genuine support, and partnerships that create a real difference in the lives of our people. Her Excellency’s support and interest in the “Pink October” project carry a powerful message of hope, care, and solidarity for the women of Gaza—especially those diagnosed with or recovering from breast cancer, as well as women who continue to endure the unimaginable hardships of displacement, war, illness, hunger, and uncertainty. I extend my sincere thanks to Her Excellency for her generous support—not only for this project, but for every humanitarian effort dedicated to serving our people in Gaza, especially women and children, who continue to be among those most deeply affected by this devastating war. My heartfelt appreciation also goes to the entire team at the Governorate of Ramallah and Al-Bireh for their warm welcome, trust, and support. True partnerships are built on trust, shared purpose, and the impact we create together. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Eng. Saber Ajjaj, Founder and President of Watan – The Seeds of Love – USA, for his vision, leadership, and unwavering dedication to serving our people. His commitment to humanitarian work and his belief in creating sustainable projects continue to guide and inspire our mission. I am proud to stand alongside him and our entire team as we work together to serve those in need. At Watan – The Seeds of Love – USA, we believe that our humanitarian responsibility goes beyond providing immediate assistance. Our mission is also to empower individuals, preserve their dignity, strengthen their resilience, and build sustainable projects that create lasting hope and meaningful change. With the continued support of our partners and community, we remain committed to doing everything within our ability to serve the humanitarian needs of our people. We place special focus on the women of Gaza particularly breast cancer patients and survivors, as well as displaced women who continue to carry the pain and burden of war, displacement, and the loss of safety and stability. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our partners at Salamtak Association in Gaza, our ongoing partners in this humanitarian journey, and to everyone who has placed their trust in us and continues to believe in our mission. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we move toward a stronger culture of health, care that protects dignity, empowerment that creates hope, and sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact. “From care to empowerment… and from service to sustainability.” With gratitude and commitment, Mona Abbushi Vice President Watan – The Seeds of Love – USA
