Nope. Especially up where we are in the gulf of Maine. Way too many obstacles that a chart plotter won’t ever see. Lobster buoys, flotsam/debris, marine life and other vessels. As well as quickly changing currents and sea conditions due to weather and significant tides. I’ll be keeping my hands on the wheel and throttle.

Learned something new here because the side buttons on my helm master control RPM lock and yours does speed. Did not realize that was configurable. I use it all the time in slow/ no wake zones on ICW.

the tech is getting insane and I'm here for it. just gotta make sure you take the time to learn to manually control your vessel.
