I this it’s the lack of levelness. I think if the all faces straight down (instead of tilted) it would take away the bowl effect and be stunning!!

Add something inside to stabilize it so they don’t tilt. And they need to be closer together - play with the heights rather than the distance apart. also, follow the line of your coffee table, It’ll look more cohesive that way.
