Cuba was initially white &mixed . Now due to emigration, most of Cuba is black. While Florida has the majority white passing Cubans.

Cubans are the descents of Spaniards and Africans. Very little of the indigenous population was left, which is why they look “white” compared Central America etc. the rest are mixed with black or just black

I used to live in Maimi Dade county and most of the Cubans a saw living there are white.

Unlike the US at the time, Cuba didn’t really have segregation prior to Castro. Whites and blacks were mixing since the beginnings of colonization. Batista, the dictator Castro overthrew, was actually mulatto (black and white mixed)

🤣🤣🤣 Política de blanqueamiento en Cuba🤣🤣🤣 Según el censo realizado por las autoridades estadounidenses en 1899 de una población de 1 572 797 habitantes, el 66,9% era blanco(1 052 397) y el 33,1% era de color(520 400). El gobierno cubano no implementó ninguna política de blanqueamiento, ya que hasta 1932 ingresaron al país alrededor de 570 mil jamaiquinos, haitianos y antillano negros.
