I think it's completely fine I do it it just depends you don't want to throw a banana peel or somebody can slip or you do not want to create a lot of bugs and stuff by doing so depending on where you're at

I think we should use discretion on where we are throwing it. Throwing it in a roadway, sidewalk, beach, lakes, parks, park lots, etc is inappropriate. Lots of people eat fruit and could you imagine if everyone through their rinds out where ever they finished it? It takes citrus fruits longer to biodegrade.
