@mcnan.wa: i got so frustrated at parrot at this scene bro but at the same time i get it, like oomuuummgghnfheet this is by one of my favorite scenes from his perpective (the lantern from the earlier episodes was still the best) // u can definitely see how parrot affected leo from spokes perspective too, i would’ve loved a leo pov. // also the way parrot acts in this entire thing from begging for his life to ??? dude i dont even know i just really like how he portrayed the situation. he was almost killed, and he was going through every possible things he can use to reason with leo in order to save himself, and once he found the trigger— he immediately uses it against him. and the way he acted upon it seemed like he was mad and terrified at the same time. // also, the part where he told leo he cared about him and the team— but once it was over he took it back and told us what he actually cared about. SOMEONE FINALLY POINTED THIS OUTTT this is such my favorite scene, fans/viewers always comment how parrot is such a good guy, nicest person, or a saint but there is geniunly so many times where his actions is geniune just so selfish and self centered especially on the mafia and director arc (prob most likely bcs he has such a big saviour complex) 🙏

Looking back at this I can tell Parrot cared, he gave encouragement to Derap and Nuli when they needed it and also trusted and helped them too. But Parrot still got a lot of downsides since he didn’t fully put his trust in them as they did to him plus there’s this mindset where he thinks doing things by himself will save him some trouble but it ended up with him causing more trouble for BAT and himself. I can also understand Parrot for that too since you can’t trust people right away and he probably thinks that including people he barely knew into his plan might ruin it (I also have a feeling that he didn’t want to include BAT in his plans because Parrot probs understood how risky it can be to include people because it might put them in danger)

yeah watching back c!parrot was highkey an asshole to a lot of people and justified it with his savior complex, and then flame and wemmbu and theo were the catalysts to make him realize that. he still struggles with it but I'm glad his character is making strives to not be so mean to the people around him

Leo changed after Nufuli's death and Parrot was in the wrong sometimes and acted selfish at times. Sometimes he acts so selfless that it makes him more selfish than kind. His character is so complex I love him so much 🥹💖💖💖
