@theclubreview: The Highlands of Elgin is a par 72 designed by Keith Foster, and it’s easily one of the most unique public tracks in Illinois. True links-style layout with wide landing areas, and wind that’s in play on basically every hole. This is the kind of place where you can hit fun, flighted shots and actually get creative depending on conditions. Greens are rolling quick, fairways are pure, and the whole property is in great shape. They have a pretty good hot dog as well.
