@chefarazada: Halva is a delicious Armenian shortbread cookie that really only takes a few ingredients to make! . 1 1/2 cups butter (or 3/4 cup clarified butter) 21/2 cups flour 3/4 cup sugar pinch of salt . clarify butter, stir in sugar and cook until its starts to turn brown and a nutty/ popcorn smell starts coming out about 10-15 min (it will form into a play dough type texture). add in the sugar and salt and stir until smooth. spread out on sheet tray and let cool. you can find this recipe and many more in our cookbook Lavash .
