@thekittenagent: Why don't we do single kitten adoptions? This is why! Lucky is a singleton kitten, and instead of having a playmate to wrestle and learn boundaries with, he thinks my hand and arm and a blanket are his playmates. It is cute now as a tiny kitten (although it is starting to hurt) but it is not cute when they become adults and ends up resulting in a lot of returned kitties. We redirect with toys like kickers, but it isn't a substitute for kitty playmates and works to varying degrees. Additionally, single kittens get depressed and sad being all alone. That's why we only adopt kittens in pairs or to a home with another playful kitty! Look at the contrast at the end to kitties who have playmates! I always tell adopters that it is less work to have a pair than to deal with a crazy solo kitten! . #luckythekitten #fosterkittens #fyp #foryoupage #catsoftiktok
