I have plenty of German friends with German accent. And uou do have an accent, but to meit doesn’t sound German. I can’t really quite place where the accent is from.

People are crazy. I would never even guess the accent is German. I talked to a Dutch person for years and I know it’s NOT the same, but you barely have any accent compared to this person or others I know from Germany. You sound more American than German.
