WRONG…. You can still have a bidding war… you just have to advertise at a VERY high price and then accept lower offers… the law specifically forbids HIGHER offers… but nothing about lower.

Do you know if you live in a house share and one tenant needs to be replaced, They’re making you terminate the tenancy and start a new one and using it as a loophole to raise the rent within 12 months. Also as it’s a new contract you can’t challenge it - awful
