I do the same, I’m obsessed😩 imma natural redhead tho so I get the yellow tint but I retone every 4-6 weeks and use purple shampoo & conditioner!

its my second try making my own roots i make em similar like you but i do them very slow (so i dont miss anything and dont overlap) so first i do the back and rinse and then front. my natural hair is like six or seven 😋

Can you show us how you applied it like detailed. Cause how is it so even cause I start with the first section and by the time I’m done with the last section the first section that I did is the lightest and the others and bit darker.
