I booked 12 months in advance and am literally counting down the days. We plan on hiking the whole trip. Last trip parking was a B everywhere and we went in the winter so the north side of the island was a no go. I’m from California and hiking our favorite trails here is also a challenge finding parking. I’m hoping for more success this trip. I’m a waterfall chaser here in California and Kauai is my all time favorite landscape. I have 6 more hikes there to complete my bucket list so I can move on to a new vacation destination. I have clue what geo tagging is but I’ll definitely look it up.

Same with us in Ojai. We are such a small town and now that LA has been over populated our town, it’s been extremely harsh on the trails ,long lines and no more parking for locals.

I visited Kauai and I have seen so much there! I do believe to leave things how it is and to not disturb the peace of it. I had never done this of giving introduction/locations to find certain things. You said it perfectly.
