@9livesofuhnoo: My take is that Japanese-Italian fusion is the best because it takes the amazingness of pasta and replaces the heaviness with umaminess and who doesn't love that? Pasta e Pasta probably earns extra points in my book because of the nostalgia I associate with mentaiko pasta, back when I was little and I hated the supermarket packet version my mom would make for struggle meals when she was overwhelmed.
