@shoombii: This is how millennials show up and show out 😂 #dance#dancetutorial#jerk#reject

𝓀𝒶𝔷𝔷𝓎 :

Can’t believe we are still having the discussion about the reject vs the jerk in 2026 😂

HarrisoN :

how are people STILL confusing the reject for the jerk in 2026?!?! we really losin the ancient texts 😭

californycation :

who tf ever called it the reject?? THIS is the jerk

The_Cajun_Rae :

“It’s the reject”. We’ve jerked like this to the song for years.

nic ⟭⟬ :

Not the jerk thats the reject. Smooth af tho. Do the jerk and spongebob next

MtnDewBreath :

We all called this the jerk.. so this is indeed the jerk 🤏🏻🤏🏻

Richeazy :

As a millennial I’m pretty sure that’s a reject, jerking the lean with the knee open and closing thing 😂

NomadGragg :

all through high school...this was the jerk. I've never once heard it called the reject. 06-10 were the years I went to high-school..so peak time of when the shit came out

ohitstay🇺🇲✝️ :

respectfully, if you weren't around when this dance came around, then don't tell us what it was called. this is the jerk.

Lucinda :

omg I haven't seen or heard the jerk in yeaaaaars 😭😭 also when I was in middle school (2010-2013) we ALL called this the jerk so🤷🏽‍♀️

DefNotDee :

The New Boyz (Ben J and Legacy) explicitly confirmed this in several interviews that while the entire lifestyle and dance style is called jerkin’, the specific "running man in reverse" move is The Reject. Why we still confused about this? 🤦🏼‍♀️

marloplaystv :

Everybody is so confidently wrong in these comments. This is the reject. The jerk is a different move. BUT when you combine the reject, the jerk, and other moves like the pindrop, it’s called JERKIN. I was a part of a jerk crew in high school when jerkin was a thing. I still have the colored skinny jeans and snap backs.

🔔 :

I am going to attempt this tonight...Wish me luck 😂

jas ❀ :

Oh baby I don’t need a tut

5uper5hadowken :

Chat should I try this?

Glitter :

Born in 97 here…never heard of “the reject” that is def the jerk nobody started doing it until this song 🤣

Rose 🌹 🕷 :

I couldn’t do it then and still can’t do it. This moves literally breaks my brain 😭😭

ᯓ★ :

🪬Chey🪬 :

I tell myself skip backwards 😂

KingTacozzz :

This is the reject…. Not jerk… cmon now

Ray :

I knew you were gonna do the reject the moment this video started

Mrs.Martinez :

That’s not the jerk that’s the reject

0hairywhiteman0 :

People only call it the jerk because it’s most said thing in the song. The move is called the reject, the jerk is a different move all together. It’s not complicated

Joshua Mendez :

That’s the reject
