Bro I'm so much like you😭 ,what you literally described is what I'm going through,I get random visual imaginations of the angel uriel holding a book and flipping it open,I also get random imaginations of sitting down under a tree and meditating,these are the two frequent random things I see in my mind,and I don't know were they came from.Also I get sleep-wake auditory and visual hallucinations like a lot

Mine come to me when I'm ironing or washing up. No chain, just a sudden non related thought and it's always accurate. Sometimes it comes through smell as well. I once experienced a strong smell of disinfectant like a hospital uses while I was driving. I made a note of the time as I didn't know it's significance. Later that day I discovered my sister-in-law had been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery. The time I noted was the time she went into surgery 😳

That’s why you can trace the chain of a thought as all those thoughts are triggered by a certain emotion/s. Channelling is kind of like thoughts coming from your crown chakra down, so I suppose you first receive the thought as in the energy from source/Akashic records/collective and then it goes down your spine into other dimensions-your chakras, so you start processing with your 3rd eye and further down.
