Just came back from Bali—and you’re absolutely right. Bali is a lot of long drives just to get from good spots to another. So you need to plan your bases. For my 4 day-trip, first 2 nights in Ubud—quiet, scenic; went ATV riding, went to Kintamani, etc—last 2 nights in Kuta, typical Bali beaches and night life, went to Nusa Dua and Pantai Melasti. I plan to come back to explore more of Bali.

Gosh i wish i’ve seen this before we went to Bali the first time. We stayed in Seminyak and never moved so we ended spending in traffic most days navigating between tours 😭

I didn’t know this before my Bali trip just 2 weeks ago 😅. Fortunately I booked 4 places in 3 areas for 7-day trip. Time to commute between destinations and traffic are big concerns.
