Especially after reading the specific passage in question, I don't think she was trying to hold him accountable or do a gotcha moment with him. I think she was simply describing a moment that happened between them. She then went on to talk about him and their relationship very fondly. Also due to libel laws, he 100% knows and approved what she wrote about him so there's that.
