hey Hun, what you have to face is super hard and no one should of course had to go through it. I love your humour in how well you have coped with being different but in a way so I have I. everything you have faced as a teenager I faced as well with people looking at my leg and wondering what was going on. not being able to walk for six months at the age of 14. people wondering why can't she walk, but I did until 2014. for two years I tried to walk but like u my foot and the leg wouldn't function properly to be able straight. like you I faced sepsis and bone infections due to my rare disease and after countless surgeries to save the leg, it was time say goodbye to the leg that had given me hell from the age of 13. I still understand rehabilitation ten years down the line but with an above knee prosthetic limb. I am very limited but when I have been able to wear it for an hour X3 a day it makes me feel normal. yes, my balance is woffle and walking in a weird way! I also mentally suffered a lot of trauma and anxiety with depression but you have gone through so much!! just know that your not alone! and if you need a chat and a bit of a laugh as I see u have a good sense of humour! lol 🤣 or just need to cry about loosing your legs. I know and can emphasize grieving for what we've been like before this all happened! so anytime u need a wee pal or an amputee bud, let me know. I am rooting for you girl on the next chapter of your journey! I know at times you will be sore and in pain. but remember to take it day at a time and I know you! determination and hard work will get you there. your strength in everything that you have endured is crazy!! but keep life real. try to not push the loved ones away. your allowed to be not okay. have fun and enjoy living in the moment! keep in touch and let us all know what your next steps will be. pardon the pun! also, I learnt not to take life seriously!! sorry long wee piece your fiancee is like the best!! ❤️❤️❤️
