It’s my lowest maintenance crop and it comes back EVERY YEAR. .AND --- I will say that you can pick asparagus wrong. Before everybody yells at me... you need to be careful not to pick your asparagus when it's too young because the plants need to establish themselves and gain strength. But after a couple or three years you can start picking... and you need to stop picking after 6-8 weeks to allow your plants to reach full maturity for maximal growth and benefit.
