The ripping part hurt me too! But I’ve always wanted to learn book binding. I wonder if there is any classes near Glasgow- ps I actually just picked this book up yesterday from my local little free library/bookswap

If you wana use fabric you should put japanse tissue paper / washi paper on the inside! It will turn it in to bookcloth :D much better than using just fabric!
