Born, raised and still live in Bergen county. If you have a family, I truly do not think it gets better than Bergen County. It’s still great if you’re younger/single!! Great restaurants, cafes, stores, malls, nature, bars, etc. Also an easy commute to nyc :)

I lived in Hudson county for 26 years and moved to Bergen county it’s a lot slower pace imo. With kids is public school I wish my kids went to school in Hudson county more diversity.

absolutely not. i’m a city girl. bergen county is the burbs. if you like suburbia than you would be obsessed. BUT i’ve lived in both and jersey city/hoboken is ELITE. i need a walkable city.

much better school system in bergen county. i went to school in hudson county and my siblings went to bergen and its sooo much better. life overall was better when we moved to bergen county too.

It’s because of Ridgewood, Tenafly, and FairLawn…expensive towns with good schools that are in north Jersey closer to NYC

They just have everything within range & also some events for kids! Garden state & Paramus park. Stew Leonard’s, Trader Joe’s, Marshall’s & hobby lobby. Then the Bergen town center like a cute outdoor/indoor mall. Loveee it and close to NY boarder (palisades, rockland lake & etc )

From New York, then Jersey city is the vibe... it's still busy, fast paced, and has everything... bodegas late night food spots, all the goods. Bergen county ... quiet.. beautiful .. slowwwww pacedddd... just different.. nice to visit.. but not the wave if you're used to and appreciate the fast pace🤷🏼♀️

I moved from New Jersey to Hudson county and then to Bergen county . I love the slow paced of Bergen county but I kept my kids in school in Jersey city 🤣
