@teaseats: Yang’s Kitchen in Alhambra has been named one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles by virtually everyone. But is it worth the hype? Short answer: yes. Long answer: they serve some of the most unique Chinese-inspired food I’ve ever had, all made with very high quality farm-to-table ingredients. Honestly, even though the food there is amazing, I rarely trek all the way out to the SGV just to eat. But this spot made the time and hassle more than worth it. Here’s everything I tried (⭐️ = personal fave): 🦀 Cold Crab Noodles $29 🍣 Dry-Aged Kanpachi $21 ⭐️ 🍘 Will’s Dry-Aged Steelhead Belly Tartare $19 🦪 Scallop Crudo (special) $22 🍞 Smoked Fish Dip $18 ⭐️ 🥔 ‘Secret’ Potatoes $15 ⭐️ 🥬 Grilled Cabbage $16 ⭐️ 🍗 Yang’s Fried Chicken Wings $19 🥓 Pork Jowl Cha Siu $20 🍝 ‘Dan Dan’ Campanelle $24 ⭐️ 🍃 Shiso Pesto Pasta (special) $30 🐟 ‘Hainan’ Fish Rice $45 ⭐️ 🍦 Soft Serve Swirl (add sweet cornflakes & black sesame crunchy butter) $11.50 ⭐️ 🧁 Black Sesame Cake $12 Send this to someone you wanna go with, and follow me for more LA restaurant reviews, recommendations, and things to do! #losangeles #lafoodie #thingstodoinla #chinesefood #alhambra
