No ketchup originates from meat packing issues back in the day where ketchup and other sweets were used to mask the smell and taste of spoiled meat. Not using ketchup meant that they were confident in the quality of the product

Maybe I’m wrong for this but you gotta take the pickle off and eat it separately. I love Portillo’s and eat it all the time but the whole pickle on it is wildly overwhelming especially when it already has relish. You gotta have it separate to enjoy the rest of the hot dog

food is better at a local hotdogs stands , they take there time . the big chain restaurants are over priced and food is made in a rush which is sometime bad 👎
