@themeparkmom: Three hours at Universal Studios Hollywood is all we needed yesterday… now that the park is finally back to those quiet midweek afternoons now that spring break crowds are gone. We popped into the park around 3pm and went to ride Secret Life of Pets then headed straight for the Studio Tour, which is always my favorite way to spend an afternoon here. Cruising through the backlot, seeing famous sets, and hearing our guide’s jokes about Jaws and Norman Bates never gets old. 🦈🎬 We also spent some time meeting characters around the park — one of the best things to do when crowds are lighter because you can actually stop, chat, and take photos without feeling rushed and you never know who you’ll run into at Universal. And we squeezed in a couple of rides before leaving, which felt surprisingly easy for a random midweek afternoon. All together: ✔️ Studio Tour ✔️ Character interactions ✔️ Two shows ✔️ Rides All between 3–6pm. This is your reminder that you don’t always need a full day to enjoy the park.
