📢ATTENTION ONION LOVERS You gotta try this🤤 Ingredients: - 2 tbsp butter - 1 tbsp olive oil - 2 large sweet or yellow onions, sliced - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp sugar - 2 garlic cloves, minced - 1 1/2 cups orzo - ~2 cups cooked and shredded chicken - 1 tsp parsley - 1/4 tsp pepper - 3.5 cups chicken stock - 1 cup heavy cream - 1 tsp Worcestershire - 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated - 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss - 3/4 cup fried onions Instructions: **preheat oven to 425°F 1. In a Dutch oven or oven safe pot, cook the chicken, set aside and shred it once it rests a few minutes. 2. Add butter and oil to the pot, then add the sliced onions, salt, and sugar. Cook on medium-low heat for about 25 minutes until the onions are soft and caramelized. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook a minute. 4. Add the orzo, and let it toast for 2 minutes. 5. Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, parsley, Worcestershire, pepper, and shredded chicken. Cover and let simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot. 6.
