People are never satisfied. A father posts a 30-second video teaching his son football, and instead of praising him for being present and involved, people criticize him for not teaching education. How do you know what he’s teaching his son from a 30-second clip? Just because he’s sharing a football moment doesn’t mean he’s neglecting everything else. We constantly talk about fathers needing to be in their children’s lives, but when a father is actually showing up for his son, somehow that’s still not enough. Maybe we should spend less time assuming and more time appreciating fathers who are present.

Why is there one negative comment in here? He is raising HIS SON. And this is positive. The child isn’t looking at the phone or an iPad! He is bonding with his father, building his body, skills and discipline early and he appears to be enjoying the sport and the exercise. Any other comment is Envy or someone minding the wrong business.
