i used to think this until i became a flight attendant and realized some people are flying for their first time and want to see what the world looks like from above. also a ton of people bring sleep masks on a plane it solves this issue for them if they’re someone thats sensitive to light.

I travel for work 2-3 times a week and half of the “problems” that people have with other passengers can be resolved with noise cancelling headphones, a sleep mask and a bit of humanity
